Forum to focus on greenhouse, gardening industry

People who work in the greenhouse industry or who are just interested in the gardening industry have been invited to take part in a Greenhouse and Garden Center Conference slated for Aug. 10 at Oklahoma State University. 

University and industry specialists will be on hand to share knowledge, said Mike Schnelle, OSU Extension floriculture specialist and conference chair.

Early registration is $85 and due by Aug. 1; registration after that will be $125. Lunch is provided. The conference is scheduled to take place from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Agenda topics include niche opportunities for greenhouse and garden center professionals, greenhouse production, plant breeding and problem-solving, grafted vegetable production, luminescent plants, labor and efficiency, vegetative production, and all-American selections.
