US (PA): Shaler florist maintaining steady business despite inflation impacts

Inflation is impacting businesses all over the Pittsburgh area, and Z Florist in Shaler is no exception.

The owner, Mark Zolkowski, told Channel 11 that, luckily, his flower shop has still maintained a steady business flow, and his regulars continue to order from the shop.

However, prices for flowers, shipping, and gas have all gone up, which means his business had to slightly increase prices for deliveries.

“On our end, delivery charges have gone up, so for the time being, prices are up slightly. [Customers] will notice right away, noting that prices online are $7, and we charge $10. Gas prices change on a weekly basis,” Zolkowski said.
