Shanghai Flower Port: Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Flowers

On March 25, the Shanghai Flower Harbor Tulip Flower Show held its grand opening. With the theme of "Flowers Make Life Better," the flower show presents a beautiful spring feast for tourists by displaying new varieties of bulbous flowers such as tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, and anemones, as well as offering various recreational activities.

Shanghai Flower Port is the Chinese version of the Dutch Keukenhof. It is a national tourist attraction that integrates flower viewing, sightseeing, catering, photography, and outings. Over the past 20 years, the Flower Port has carefully built its brand around tulips. There is a larger variety and scale of tulips here than anywhere else.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Flower Port, and a 20-year retrospective exhibition was held. In addition to the large areas of tulip flowers, various elaborate floral works were exhibited in the flower exhibition hall.

The main exhibit has taken "Ocean Waves" as its theme, using different shades of reddish-orange, yellowish-orange, and orange flowers from the Flower Port's flowers and an utterly abstract art form to transform the ocean waves from the traditional blue into the color of flames through the gradual change of color and shape. The exhibit is said to show the attitude and spirit of the people of the Flower Port, who are positive, never give up, and bravely move forward.

Below are some photos of the flower art exhibition in the Flower Art Gallery.
