Horti division of Paardekooper fully committed to sustainability

Broekhof and Dillewijn Zwapak, the packaging specialists within the Royal Paardekooper Group, are actively focusing on making the range of packaging products and decorative materials more sustainable. For years, sleeves and bags have already been made of certified (FSC) paper, but developments continue at a rapid pace. In particular, the focus is now on circularity, reusing used sleeves and buckets as raw material for new buckets and packaging products.

The sustainability philosophy of the Paardekooper Horti division is clearly and conveniently summarised in RESPECT, a vision document in which the letters (Rethink, Environment, Science, People, Education, Collaboration, and Transparency) stand for the seven focus areas in which initiatives are taken to embed sustainability in the company.

More information on the vision can be found here.
