"At the moment, agriculture is mainly dependent on weather conditions. While we have experienced months of significant drought in most of the growing areas of Spain, now the Mediterranean slope is suffering torrential rains with hail. In view of this situation, the use of controlled facilities such as greenhouses with hydroponic technology and equipment is becoming increasingly important so that certain crops are not affected by droughts or torrential rains," the J. Huete team says. "To avoid drought, for example, we install drainage collection systems that enable farmers to reduce irrigation water consumption by around 80%."
New projects
Meanwhile, J. Huete continues to be busy with new projects. "For example, we are currently developing a highly technical Venlo-type greenhouse in Europe and a twenty-hectare macro-project in Senegal that includes greenhouses, seedbeds, open field production, and warehouses. The aim of this project is to enable the local population to be self-sufficient, as it will allow our client to control the entire production chain, from the time the seed is planted until the final product, fruit or vegetable, is placed on the consumer's table."

GreenTech
At this year's GreenTech in Amsterdam, J. Huete will be present to showcase this year's innovations in the field of technology applied to greenhouse structures. "At J. Huete Greenhouses, we understand the importance of adopting advanced technologies to maximize crop performance and quality. Our team of experts has been working hard to develop solutions that incorporate the latest advancements in automation, climate control, water management, renewable energy, and other aspects related to equipment and high technology."
During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to explore J. Huete's technological solutions up close and discover how they can improve the productivity and profitability of their agricultural business. "Our staff will be available to provide detailed information, answer your questions, and advise you on how to adapt our solutions to your specific needs in high-tech greenhouse projects."
