With effect from 01.07.2023, Stephan Schmidt Group, one of Europe's
leading producers of clay granulates for the substrate industry will
take over the customer base of Griendtsveen AG in the clay segment.
Griendtsveen is a North German company that specializes in the
production of peat products for horticulture. It also operates a clay pit
and produces clay granulates for hobby and commercial horticulture at
its Saterland-Scharrel site.
The transition of deliveries will take place gradually; initially,
customers will continue to be supplied with the usual products of
Griendtsveen AG from Saterland-Scharrel in northern Germany. During the transition period, the team of Stephan Schmidt Group's business unit Advanced Clay Minerals, around Dr. Matthias Schellhorn and Eva Schmidt, will contact the customers and find the best individual solution for their further supply.
