It's lights out for this Dutch bidding hall

Friday, September 29, 2023, was the last time buyers could bid on their products in Royal FloraHolland's Bidding Hall D. An historic event marked the end of product purchases from a bidding room in Naaldwijk, the Netherlands.

In the months preceding this event, Hall D buyers were asked if there was still a need for a bidding space in Naaldwijk. They do need one, so work began to create a new area for them, and part of the restaurant on the Fleurcenter's seventh floor was transformed.

There, the 32 buyers can comfortably do their purchasing. The new furniture, remote purchasing network connections, three large screens, and coffee facilities there will ensure a pleasant working environment. Except for some minor hitches, the buyers are said to be satisfied with their new workplace.
