Klaas Knot, President of the Dutch Central Bank, is advocating for a halt in greenhouse horticulture. He argues that this is an economic activity where the benefits do not outweigh the costs. He made this statement a few days ago in an episode of Buitenhof.
In the episode, he expressed his concerns about the Dutch economy to the parties currently in power. Knot also calls for not turning our backs on Europe and for greater control of government expenditure.
