Last Thursday, Chrysal International in Naarden opened its doors for auctioneers and quality controllers from Royal Flora Holland, as well as Rhodos buyers. They were invited by Chrysal and the Kenyan Rhodos growers to observe the effect of the Chrysal Rose Dip on this highly popular Valentine's variety, Rhodos.
In addition to a short presentation about the Chrysal Rose Dip service, there was a display showcasing the effect of the dip. Two large vases, one dipped and the other not dipped, clearly demonstrated the benefits of the Rose Dip. It effectively controls Botrytis while enhancing the color and improving the opening of this specific variety. Rose Dip not only proves effective on Rhodos but also yields similar results when used on any rose variety and certain other crops.
The meeting included a lunch, a factory tour, and a tour through the vase life room, where processes were explained. Reflecting on the event, Chrysal looks back at a fruitful afternoon and extends thanks to everybody who was present. For those unable to attend, Chrysal plans to host a similar event in early June.
