US (RI): Wicked Tulip is now open for the 2024 season

It's time. The first tulips of the season are ready to be picked and photographed at Wicked Tulip.

The popular flower farm launched their soft opening this week at their Exeter location, 400 Hog House Hill Rd. The Exeter field has more than 100 varieties of early tulips ready to be picked.

"We see more color in the field every hour, and I am already excited to see the field on Opening Day, Wednesday, April 10, 2024," the field report for the Exeter patch said on April 9.

Wicked Tulip plants over 1.5 million bulbs across their three locations, Exeter, Preston, CT and Johnston. The fields bloom one after the other as varieties with different bloom times are planted at each location.
