Russia: Sverdlovsk imports 1.4M cut flowers in January

In January 2025, nearly 1.4 million cut flowers and 35,800 potted plants were imported into the Sverdlovsk region, all grown in countries outside Russia.

The flowers originated from countries including the Netherlands, Colombia, Kenya, Israel, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Italy, and Mexico.

The shipments were transported to the Sverdlovsk region by road via Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

According to the Ural Interregional Office of Rosselkhoznadzor, no violations were detected during the inspection of these quarantined goods.
