From regal lavenders to fiery red carnations, Lucknow's Raj Bhavan is yet again set to transform into a canvas of vibrant flora, with its upcoming annual flower show. The announcement for the event has now been made and the show will kick off on February 7, with an inauguration ceremony and cultural events. The flower show will remain open for visitors till February 9.
Dr. Vijay Bahadur Dwivedi, Director of the Department of Horticulture and Food Processing, shared that the flower show will bring together progressive producers, exporters, and farmers of fruits, vegetables, flowers, mushrooms, betel leaves and honey, offering an enriching experience for all.
In addition to being the official residence of the Governor, Lucknow's Raj Bhavan is home to exotic gardens showcasing a wide variety of flora and intricately designed flower and plant arrangements. These displays and the gardens are open to visitors exclusively during the annual flower show. Additionally, a new flower-themed gate has been installed at the entrance of Raj Bhavan, adding to the charm of the venue.
