UK: New pot recycling scheme launched at Provender Nurseries

Provender Nurseries can now recycle all pots, plant trays, empty compost bags and bulk bags for their customers.

Following a trial with selected customers, the recycling scheme has now been launched and is open to all customers of Provender Nurseries.

Two recycling points are on site for customers to bring in their items to be recycled. All items must have been supplied by Provender Nurseries. All pots and bags are repurposed by an external company saving space in landfill.

Richard McKenna says, 'We are really pleased to offer this service to our customers. As part of our sustainability drive, we have been looking into this for some time, but wanted to get the process right before launching. Customer feedback has already been really supportive.'
