Terra Nova Nurseries introduced its new Heucherella 'Pink Stardust'. The new introduction is lauded for its rust-free and disease-resistant foliage as well as its excellent clumping growth habit.
Heucherella 'Pink Stardust' catches the eye with its silvery, mint-green foliage complemented by deep-green veins. The new variety's frosty foliage is crowned with clusters of large, bright-pink star-shaped flowers that are held on sturdy stems that bloom continuously for months. 'Pink Stardust' performs well in full sun to part shade and is heat- and humidity-tolerant. Terra Nova's latest heucherella is a standout in mixed containers; it also performs exceptionally well in mixed beds, borders, mass plantings or as an accent plant.
Terra Nova's 'Pink Stardust' blooms June and July, and is most active during the spring, reaching a height of 6", width of 12" and flower height of 14". This plant should be moderately dry between waterings during finishing time in greenhouses and kept in well-drained, humus-rich soil once planted in the garden. USDA Hardiness Zones for 'Pink Stardust' are 4-9.
