Hoek Flowers:

"Flowers from the source, with a vision for the future"

Kenya plays a crucial role as a sourcing region for the Hoek Group. Through Hoek Flowers Kenya, the company operates directly from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, exporting fresh flowers daily to wholesalers, florists, and retailers worldwide.

Hoek flowers Kenya is the first company of its kind in the Kenyan export sector. Their business model focuses on sustainable, direct delivery, ensuring that flowers are flown directly from the grower to the customer, bypassing unnecessary stops in the Netherlands. Unlike the traditional method where Kenyan growers send full boxes to wholesalers, Hoek Flowers Kenya picks and packs orders for florists right at the source.

A global network, powered locally
Hoek group has been active in the international flower and plant trade for over 40 years. With Hoek flowers, they operate offices in Kenya, Colombia, South Africa, and the Netherlands. Across these regions, they build long-term relationships with growers and customers, with a strong focus on transparency, flexibility, and reliable sourcing.

Flower Trade Zwirs, the group's specialized import and retail branch, is also active in Kenya. They work directly with African growers and import flowers for large-scale supply to supermarkets and wholesale customers, including for the Dutch stock of Hoek flowers.

Hoek Group at IFTEX 2025
This year, Hoek group will present itself for the first time with its own stand (F1.16) at the International Floriculture Trade Expo (IFTEX), together with Hoek Flowers and Flower Trade Zwirs. The trade fair takes place from 3 to 5 June 2025 at the Oshwal Centre in Nairobi. For Hoek group, this is an opportunity to meet with their international network, share their vision on sourcing, and highlight their growing role within the African floral supply chain.
