NL: A look into the latest Calla developments

From June 3 to 13, the annual Captain Calla Days will take place in Anna Paulowna. At this location – the breeding and show greenhouse of Captain Calla at Grasweg 38 – visitors will gain a broad and up-to-date view of the latest developments in Calla cultivation. The event is aimed at professionals of the international horticulture sector, including growers, traders, and exporters.

During the Captain Calla Days, a wide range of Calla varieties will be on display for both pot and cut flower production. The greenhouse is specially prepared to showcase not only the newest genetics but also existing, proven varieties. Special attention is given to quality trials, vase life, uniformity, and suitability for various cultivation conditions – all with the goal of ensuring the best possible match between product and market.

Visitors won't just see plants, but will also be informed about the latest trends and applications of Callas throughout the supply chain. Topics include presentation methods for retail and florists, inspiring packaging concepts, and examples of seasonal product use.
