Floral Express has put the spotlight on its local supply chain with the launch of its "Grow Together" initiative. The campaign is an effort to celebrate and strengthen the network of local flower growers across Ontario.

It helps us to promote the importance of supporting local and truly 'grow together' with our supply chain and our customers. It's also an opportunity to shine a spotlight on how incredibly innovative, strong, and hardworking our growers are."

Going local: The Floral Express field report
Over the past two months, the Floral Express marketing team has been working on a video series that offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the dedication and skill of the province's growers. The videos are meant to show customers the innovation and passion that goes into local blooms.

The first four farms featured in the series are:
P.H. Kuivenhoven: Known for their high-quality Gerberas, they are also highlighted for their new program growing local Hydrangeas.
La Primavera: The team explored their vast territories, admiring their beautiful Sunflowers and Field Flowers.
J.R. Vyn: This farm grows between 30 and 40 different varieties of Field Flowers. A key feature was their sustainable practice of using their pond to water all fields.
Prins Grow: The team got an up-close look at Statice and the majestic Amaryllis. They were especially lucky to catch a couple of Amaryllis blooms, as they usually flower during the Christmas season - a great insight into seasonal growing.
