On the occasion of Valentine's Day, Plantaespaña has launched a new social media campaign under the slogan 'Amores que se cultivan' (Love that is cultivated), an initiative that brings together the world of plants and human relationships to promote a way of loving based on respect, time and balance.

"The campaign starts from a clear idea: just as plants do not need excess, but the right care, relationships do not grow through pressure or overprotection, but through attention, space and consistency. Through a series of posts, Plantaespaña invites people to rethink love from a more natural, conscious and sustainable perspective."
Within this context, Francisco Rubio, spokesperson for Plantaespaña, highlights the symbolic and emotional value of plants as a gift at this time of year: "Valentine's Day is a perfect opportunity to give something that is not used up in a single day, but grows over time. A plant is a gesture of love that is cared for, that evolves and that accompanies you, just like the relationships that truly matter."
"The initiative also focuses on all the bonds that make up our lives, not only romantic ones, from family and friendship to the relationships that are built over time. 'The best loves are not pushed, they are accompanied', is one of the messages that shape the campaign's narrative."
Plantaespaña argues that choosing a plant as a gift is also "a way of communicating values, because it implies time, attention and commitment. It is a way of saying 'I want this to last', and that connects perfectly with the spirit of Valentine's Day."
The campaign is being rolled out in the days leading up to, and including, 14 February on Plantaespaña's social media channels, through messages that use metaphors such as light, watering or growth to talk about healthy, balanced and respectful relationships.
