The following companies were pleased to launch new products and programs to the enthusiastic guests during California Spring Trials 2023: PanAmerican Seed, Darwin Perennials, Selecta One, Ball FloraPlant, Ball Ingenuity, Morel Cyclamen, and Burpee Home Gardens.

The Burpee plant brand has added new vegetables to its growing assortment with Tomato Love Sunrise (held by retail business manager Tiffany Heater on the left) and Pumpking Buckskin (held by seed supply manager Jayson Force on the right). There was plenty to “love” in their display as vegetables continue to be an exciting market for consumers.

The Kitchen Minis Collection of indoor-growing vegetables expands into a new class with Quick Snack Cucumber, "a deliciously crisp and sweet cucumber you can fresh off the plant, or add to a vegetable platter or fresh salad." Josh Kirschenbaum is the vegetables account manager and he says the plants produce handfuls of small, cocktail-sized cucumbers over a few weeks. He made a refreshing cucumber-water recipe for guests to drink during the trials!

She’s holding new trailing Lantana PassionFruit with its vibrant tropical colour perfect for hanging baskets. She is also near new Salvia Plum Crazy and Cleome Lavender Dreams. There are several new color introductions in Petunia and Calibrachoa as well from the company.
