Nine plans for large scale greenhouse projects were on display the GPEC. All of the were initiated by local governments. In the coming years the projects are planned to be realized, with the help of subsidies from the government. Later you can find more about them in our newsletter.

Even some post harvesting equipment was present at the show. If greenhouse horticulture will take of on a big scale and the acreage per company sees an increase, automated post harvesting and sorting will become definitely important as the wages in Japan are very high.
