Proflora 2017, Bogota, Colombia

Ximena Franco of Florverde, together with Richard Fox and Jeroen Oudheusden of Floriculture Sustainability Initiative(FSI). FSI unites sector front-runners in the supply chain with the ambition to obtain 90% sustainable flowers and plants by 2020. They developed a Basket of Standards; an instrument to mainstream and promote responsible sourcing of flowers & plants in the areas of environmental and social practices. Florverde is part on this basket and is growing. Over the last year, they gave out 10 percent more certificates.
