This new impatiens series is available in 9 colors and 1 mix. Red Star and Pink are the newest additions in the series. It is their biggest introduction in these trials as it is resistant to Impatiens Downy Mildew. On top of that, it is a shade plant and according to Willis, retail is always looking for shade plants. In North America, they also provide POS material for this series with the slogan: “Take back the shade”

"On top of that, the striking leaf colors, shapes, increased disease resistance and sun tolerance, and season-long color make the Caladiums stand out."

They aim for 7 varieties in both series.  According to Suits, the Supercal showed a lot of credibility for integrity as the blooms stayed open during their trial of 24 hour of continuous rains at the CAST.

These are gift plants for indoor use and according to Mazat, the popularity of hydrangeas is increasing and everyone is therefore interested in something new. “It is a new level of what is currently popular. Most retailers want pink and blues, but with the double petal flowers, we take it to a higher heights.”
