They mainly grow for supermarkets in the EU, but they can also go to other countries. Tretter is very pleased to grow roses in this country, which is politically stable.

Mobile fumigation, enhanced farm procedures and import licenses enable Kenyan growers to keep exporting to this country. Regarding flowers, Kenya is their major supplier. For Kenya, the Australian market accounts for around 5 to 6 percent of the total exports. It is clearly not their major market (Europe is), but the Kenyans do not want to lose it.
