US (MN): Mankato's Hilltop Florist and Greenhouse to build apartment complex on property
Hilltop Florist and Greenhouse will stay in business, but they will no longer have greenhouses on the property.
Hilltop Florist and Greenhouse owner Kathy Van Tol said "We know we have a beautiful historic site here at Hilltop Florist and Greenhouse and wanted to use the best use of the land and repurpose it for something and we felt that an apartment complex would fit the needs of the community and continue to grow and be a part of the Mankato area."
Ground breaking for the new development is set for this summer, with apartment units ready to rent by early next spring.
