Dutch tulips are popular all over the world. As well as in the United States. The majority of the tulips sold in the US are imported by dealers from the Netherlands. At the moment, we see that Dutch growers are crossing borders to shorter their supply chain. Fresh Tulips USA, for example, this 46ha sized greenhouse is owned by a Dutch company and moved to Virginia to supply fresher flowers. Take a look in this greenhouse which produces 100 million tulips a year. The bulbs are brought from the Netherlands.
