New flower bunching line

Bercomex innovations at IFTF 2015

Bercomex is introducing various innovations at IFTF 2015: two new flower processing solutions, and a new binding method using a large reel of elastic twine.

Flower bunching line
The FloraFit is a system that supports growers and processors with the following features: easier input of flowers, de-leafing per stem and automatic bunching for more consistent and uniform bunch quality. This basic version can be expanded with several options, including a second de-leafing unit.

Expansion of existing rose processing system
The RoseMatic rose processing system has been extended with additional features to better meet the current requirements of customers beyond Europe. The new configuration de-leafs per stem and is fitted with sliding gutters which allow rose growers to bundle the sorted roses as they wish. The system can also be fitted with a UV light module to combat botrytis.

Jumbo Cone
Bercomex will also be launching new, larger spools for binding elastic at the IFTF, this new binding system is called Jumbo Cone. These large spools hold six times as much binding elastic as regular spools, which addresses the call from florists and flower growers, among others, for a system which involves changing reels less frequently. The larger spools are also easy to use on existing CRM and Chrymo binders.
