Rose is flower of the month in Europe

In the period around Valentine’s Day (14 February), the rose is on the Flower Agenda. Thus, the sector responds to the European consumer’s interest in this inspiring flower. The rose is on the Flower Agenda in weeks 5 through 8.



The 2016 Flower Agenda highlights 15 different flowers, sorted according to the season in which they are available and when they are relevant in the consumer's perception. The Flower Agenda furthermore offers inspiration for bouquets by focusing on other flowers that expand the possibilities. The agenda tells the story that goes with the flower, and offers inspiration and striking images. The consumer can find the flower on the agenda at www.mooiwatbloemendoen.nl and can share the content via Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook.

Commercial activities
Lots of commercial activities relating to the rose are scheduled in this period. Many sales points are running campaigns featuring the rose in this period, in order to boost the consumer's interest.
