Sharing knowledge with Latin American growers

There is a high demand for Dutch horticultural technology and its progressive and diverse applications in Latin America. This is mainly due to the quality and improvement of production numbers that can be achieved with high-quality technology.

Along with VDH Foliekassen, Luiten Greenhouses has already realized a number of projects in Latin America, including Palki in Guatemala. Following this realization a group of growers and managers from five Latin American countries visited Luiten Greenhouses in July.

They received a manager training from NethWork, of which Luiten Greenhouses has long been a proud member. Then they were given a presentation about Luiten Greenhouses and VDH Foliekassen (one of their partners), in which the added value of Dutch innovation was highlighted again.

During the training an employee of Palki talked about the enormous improvements already achieved in her company. This resulted from the delivered technology, but mainly from the exchange of knowledge. On the training day itself a great deal of knowledge was also exchanged. After the presentation there was a wonderful and interesting dialogue between the managers of the delegate companies.
