NL: Florists Clock customers donate 5,000 euro to Ride for the Roses
Since the Florists Clock in Naaldwijk closed, customers have continued to pay into the product range fund. Customers pay € 0.01 above the transaction charge to support the Assortment Fund. Thanks to the fund, the product range for customers is becoming larger and wider.
What is Ride for the Roses?
Ride for the Roses is a cycling tour to raise money for cancer. The tour's success lies in its unique formula - joining 10,000 other cyclists on a sporty, healthy and enjoyable trip. At the same time, you fight cancer by raising money for the KWF Kankerbestrijding (Dutch Cancer Society). Every cyclist is given a rose at the finish. The rose symbolises 'a tomorrow for everyone'.
Royal FloraHolland's customers, growers and staff joined the 20th Ride for the Roses on 3 September in Lansingerland. In total, € 675,461 was raised for KWF Kankerbestrijding.
