Dümmen Orange hosts grower platform at FloraDecora
Last year Dümmen Orange brought along growers in order to establish direct contact between growers and various Category Managers. This approach helps to meet sectors that have not bought flowers or plants at all. Afterwards growers were really enthusiastic about teaming up with Dümmen Orange. The growers replied spontaneously that they would like to join in again. Next to this, FloraDecora has considerable potential because of its proximity to Christmasworld. A good opportunity to meet buyers from supermarkets, garden centers and the most important target group ‘new business’, who travel to Christmasworld anyway and who then recognise, when they come to the booth of Dümmen Orange, that they, too, sell gift items for Christmas.
At Floradecora, Dümmen Orange shows proven and future successes, existing concepts in which their flowers, plants and bulbs play a leading role. To have more private one on one conversations Dümmen Orange offers an atmospheric lounge to do so. Next to that Dümmen Orange teams up with Koen Pack, to show their products in innovative concepts, matching next year’s Christmas trends. In contribution to this Tineke Geerlings, an arranger, is making the most trendy concepts during live demonstrations throughout the whole fair. Creative packaging solutions and presentation possibilities (displays) complete the story of the wide product range. Dümmen Orange is not only showcasing different types of flowers here, but also ideas for using them, for packaging and design. They are leaving the traditional byways of the B2B sector and drawing the attention of hotels, offices, cosmetics shops and clothing retailers to the notion that flowers are a decorative item that bring life to sales floors and also make a beautiful gift in themselves.
