The 2018 FlowerTrials was a great success, according to Evanthia. Almost 1,800 visitors came to view the latest developments and existing assortment in pot and bedding plants, cut flowers, cuttings and tropical plants at the breeder.
This year Evanthia showcased its products at a new location. To accommodate the increasing number of visitors this year the Breeders Avenue region Aalsmeer took place in a larger greenhouse at Hortiparq, Mijnsherenweg 23, Kudelstaart.
This year’s highlights included Helianthus Sunsation Yellow Spirit. In the Celosia family a new addition was welcomed, Cristi Purple. Other favourites, like the experimental Platycodon Corsa were on show in three colours. There was also a lot of interest in the wide range of tropical plants from seed and tissue culture.
