Grower Arjan Dukker:

"MPS-GAP certification increases your market opportunities"

The demand for sustainably grown flowers and plants continues to increase. The Floriculture Sustainability Initiative (FSI) aims to have 90% of the flowers and plants supplied in 2020 cultivated in a sustainable manner.

Dukker Chrysanten BV from Bleiswijk grows chrysanthemums in the most environmentally conscious way possible. Recently, the company obtained its MPS-GAP certificate, with which a grower can demonstrate the traceability of pesticides, environment, safety and hygiene. Growers associated with Zentoo can show that they work sustainably. What is required to cultivate sustainably? Arjan Dukker shares his experiences in a blog post for Royal FloraHolland.
