The flower trade show week in Quito has come to an end. Last week, two flower shows were held concurrently, namely Agriflor and Expo Flor Ecuador. Agriflor, organized by HPP Exhibitions, mainly gave the smaller growers a stage to explore the direct trade. At Expo Flor Ecuador, the members of Ecuadorian association of flower exporters Expoflores, also the organizers of the show, were showcasing their products and services.

The two shows were held in two separate buildings in Quito; Expoflores in the new Metropolitan Convention Center of Quito and Agriflor in El Centro Exposiciones de Quito. The shows were connected by shuttles, which offered visitors the opportunity to visit both shows.
All in all it has been a very busy but pleasing week. We spoke to the organizers of each show and they are very satisfied with the results.
