Danziger & ToolGen sign MOU for joint research and commercialization

On September 30, 2018, Danziger Innovations and ToolGen, a Korean genome editing technology company, signed an MOU to promote a technological alliance for development of genome edited plant crops on September 30, 2018.

ToolGen is a biotech company with fundamental CRISPR/Cas9 technology IP. Toolgen and Monsanto recently reached a global licensing agreement for the use of ToolGen’s CRISPR technology platform to develop agricultural products.

Danziger Innovations holds IP on viral delivery systems for genome editing reagents. Danziger Innovations is part of the Danziger Group.

Through this MOU, the two companies will jointly develop technology platforms for generating genome edited crops and actively cooperate to commercialize them in the global market for the benefit of both companies and the entire agriculture industry.
