UK: Scholarships available for students of commercial and production horticulture

Students studying any aspect of commercial or production horticulture can get their hands on £1,500 to help with their education.

The South West Growers Show (SWGS) Sponsored Regional Scholarship is available as part of the David Colegrave Foundation Scholarship Season which is open until 31 January 2019.

Preference will be given to those studying or working in the South West of England.

Last Scholarship Season the award went to Luke Spiller. Luke was top practical student on his course at Bicton College in Devon as well as being a nursery worker and gardener. He is currently at Pershore College in Worcester, completing Level 3 in Horticulture.

To apply students simply need to complete an application form which they can do online.

This year also sees the launch of three new scholarships providing even more opportunities to students.
