Renata Macías, Florsani:

"Dyed flowers increasingly popular for St. Patrick’s Day"

Last Sunday, in Ireland, the UK, parts of Canada and the United States, it was all about celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. That means dressing up in green, eating, drinking and… flowers. Florsani has been shipping out to the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom for St. Patrick's Day for over two years. Renata Macías: “We have noticed an increment on the demand of flowers during this holiday.”

Rainbows and glitter
“The most popular flowers for this holiday are the dye flowers in different types of green hues and rainbow colors in our Gypsophila Xlence, Limonium Piña Colada, thematic bouquets and Craspedias. We have several types of greens and some include glitter, which adds a little sparkle to the floral arrangements.”

Florsani is satisfied with the demand, and they are also pleased with the prices, although they weren’t higher than last year. “Clients are more aware of all the processes that comes with the dyeing of flowers and the quality they obtain by choosing our products.”

More demand for dye products
Although the demand for St. Patrick’s Day has increased over the years, it still isn’t as big as a holiday people celebrate such as Easter or Halloween, says Renata.

“It’s great to see how the clients are currently asking for more dye products to use them in thematic holidays such as St Patrick’s Day. We expect to have the same demand of colors related to the holiday in Easter. Also, the thematic bouquets are a big part of our new available products that can be shipped to every part of the world.”

Keep improving dying techniques
"We are proud of our achievements during the year 2018 and the fact that we continue to innovate by bringing new products into our brand, such as the lepidium flower and our bouquets."

"Also, we keep improving our dyeing techniques, which is key for bringing the best quality of this amazing flowers to our clients. Dye flowers add pops of colors to any season and are a creative way to attend to the color demand of the different holiday parties.
