Aleia Roses is in financial difficulties, according to reports in the Spanish media. Early last week it was reported that the grower has applied for a moratorium on payments at the court in Soria, Spain. Supposedly this is about a debt worth millions.
In recent days, even the supply of gas and electricity came into play, an acute problem that has since been resolved.
The grower now has a limited number of weeks to put things in order and thus avert bankruptcy. In the meantime, work is underway behind the scenes on a restart.
