Royal FloraHolland:

Ten new product groups have started with Fc588

On 11 November 2019, Royal FloraHolland took a further step in the roll-out of the Fc588 flower bucket. The Fc588 is now also available for suppliers of Alchemilla, Antirrhinum, Brassica, Carthamus, Delphinium, Echinacea, Echinops, Eryngium, Helenium and Solidago. The further roll-out in 2020 will include Peony and Rose.

In March 2019, the auction introduced the new multi-use flower bucket (Fc588) with matching support shelving (Fc598) to its packaging pool. This introduction will take place in phases per product.

From Monday 11 November 2019, growers of the following seasonal flowers will be able to supply (both Clock and Direct trade) in Fc588 and/or Fc598:

  • Alchemilla
  • Antirrhinum
  • Brassica
  • Carthamus
  • Delphinium
  • Echinacea
  • Echinops
  • Eryngium
  • Helenium
  • Solidago

Earlier this year the Lisianthus, Alstroemeria Gypsophila, Hypericum, Waxflower, Limonium, Veronica and Euphorbia product groups started using this type of packaging. The auction is opting for a phased introduction per product group in order to ensure sufficient availability, also during peak periods. Use by groups other than the released product groups is therefore not yet possible.
