Cambodian flower market supplies the world

Covering more than 5,000 square metres of nursery and exhibition space, Chencun Flowers World in Shunde district was established to promote the horticulture industry on an intensive production and industrialisation basis.

Established in 1998 as a large flower market, it is a centre for flower production, sales, collection of scientific research, information, training, and the import and export of flowers and ornamental plants.

At present, it boasts of over 2,000 large-scaled industrial enterprises and about 300 flower traders at home and abroad, including most of the famous flower enterprises on the Chinese mainland, quite a few magnates from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, as well as big flower dealers from countries and regions such as the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, South Korea, Australia and the United States.

Although Chencun has a large-scale flower industry, it is only a small part of the green industry of Shunde.

In the district, over 3,000 domestic and foreign varieties of flowers are grown on 2,758 hectares.
