Helix Australia licensed growers in South Africa have recently completed their 2019 Waxflower season with a lift in yield of over 30%. These strong volume increases were also accompanied by excellent prices demonstrating a strong demand across the range of Helix waxflower varieties.
Helix Australia has Plant Breeder Rights (PBR) applications for 3 new Waxflower varieties in South Africa this year. In addition, there are plans to apply for an additional 5 PBRs in 2020. This will help South Africa waxflower growers maintain their strong market share with new and unique Waxflower varieties covering early, mid and late season flowering windows.
