Tourists looking to take the perfect Instagram snap are destroying Tasmania's lavender fields.  

The craze is creating problems for business owners in Tasmania, who are considering cordoning off parts of their farms to minimise potential damage.

Some tourists are trampling the plants and picking the flowers with complete disregard to the livelihood of the local farmers.
