UK: Provender Nurseries grow lavenders in peat free compost at Hadlow College.

Provender Nurseries work with students of crop production at Hadlow College continues to go from strength to strength with the addition of 1500 lavender plants having been potted in peat-free compost and kerbside recyclable pots. 

The 9 varieties of British grown lavender have been planted in peat-free compost with additional wetting agent.  The blue pots are kerbside recyclable and the plants should be ready for despatch to the cash and carry facility at Provender Nurseries in February / March and will be placed into stock for sale. 

Alongside the lavenders are Hakonechloa macra and Hakonechloa macra Sunflare also in peat free compost and kerb recyclable pots.
