As part of a significant expansion of the Fairytale Flowers assortment in 2021, Gartneriet PKM will be offering the versatile Muehlenbeckia from mid-February 2021. The expansion of the assortment supports the plan of offering an even wider range of quality plants to the customers in the future.
Both Sales Manager Claes Bastrup and Production manager Steen Jensen are gratified with the addition of Muehlenbeckia at PKM. It is yet another step towards, offering the customers of PKM a greater range of plants across seasons. At the same time, making better use of the production facilities and create a natural flow in the production processes. ”Muehlenbeckia blends perfectly with the Fairytale Flowers assortment and as many of the customers of PKM have also been customers of Gartneriet Dugfrisk - the former producer of Muehlenbeckia - we hope that the acquisition will make the buying process even easier for our customers in the future”, Claes Bastrup states.
Muehlenbeckia has been produced in Denmark for almost 25 years by Gartneriet Dugfrisk, from whom Gartneriet PKM got the opportunity to take over the production.
A satisfying acquisition to both Gartneriet PKM and the owner of Gartneriet Dugfrisk, Hans Peter Nielsen. As he states,”…it is of great importance to continue a significant production of Muehlenbeckia in Denmark - it is beneficial to the customers as well as the Danish assortment".
In 2021 Gartneriet PKM will be offering a seasonal assortment of; Campanula, Adenium, Gentiana, Rhipsalidopsis, Schlumbergera, Thymus, Lavendel, Helleborus, Crassula, Sedum, Euphorbia Fulgens and Muehlenbeckia. From mid-February 2021 Muehlenbeckia will be available in the following sizes; 10.5 cm, 8 cm & 5.5 cm.
