All over the world, shows and events are being cancelled and lifted to a virtual platform. However, there are some exceptions, like Flower Expo China held in August, and FlowersExpo in Moscow, Russia, that was held last month in a hybrid format; physical and online. And there are more exhibitions being held according this hybrid concept. At the moment, the annual agri- and horticulture exhibitions in Japan are taking place physically at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, but are also accessible via a digital platform. The three different shows that are being held concurrently took off yesterday, on October 14 and will last till October 16.
Shows held concurrently
At the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, three different shows are being held at the same time, namely Agri Week - consisting of AgriTech, AgriNext, AgriProcess, and Livestock - Gardex, and Tool Japan.

Agri Week
Agri Week is a show that covers all agricultural materials and technologies. Agricultural drone, the latest agricultural machinery, smart agriculture technology system, livestock farming related products, etc. will be showcased all at once. "A large number of industry professionals such as agricultural corporation, agricultural cooperatives, and industry new entrants from East Japan will visit the show and active business dealings will be held with the exhibitors", the organization says.

Gardex
Gardex is one of Japan's largest garden industry trade show covering all kinds of horticultural and landscaping products. Companies dealing in garden supply, pot/planter, watering supply, garden furniture, outdoor living product, flower/plant, etc. will gather under one roof! Industry professionals from home centres, retailers, wholesalers, landscapers, contractors are visiting the show and active business dealings take place.

Tool Japan
Tool Japan is one of Japan's leading hardware and tool industry trade shows. Tools for constructors, carpenters, landscapers are exhibited. Work shops, home centres, garden shops, hardware shops, and professional users visit the show.
