Leaving Smiles UK filling the distance with flowers

With the UK in its third national lockdown, it's more important than ever to find new ways to spread joy, find connection and keep in touch with friends and family. Rather than allow the distance to divide, there's an opportunity to fill the distance between ourselves and loved ones with flowers in the shape of a beautiful Leaving Smiles bouquet.

Prestige Flowers have created a bold and colourful bouquet to bring joy in uncertain times to its recipient. Each stem has been carefully selected to bring an instant and contagious smile: it's the perfect combination of blooms to make a lasting impression.

Prestige Flowers launched its Leaving Smiles campaign in March last year to spread smiles across the UK. Prestige Flowers sent its Leaving Smiles bouquet free of charge to its participants and invited them to leave it in a public place with a 'Take Me Home' postcard for a stranger to find in the hope it makes them smile. Those who found a bouquet were encouraged to share where they found it on social media using the hashtag #LeavingSmilesUK so its journey could be tracked to see how far smiles had been spread across the UK.

Prestige Flowers are now sending flowers to elderly and vulnerable people to reach those who are shielding. Each bouquet is accompanied with a Take Me Home postcard which includes crucial national helpline numbers on the back of it. So if someone is in need of help or assistance they have the numbers to hand should they need to reach out for help.

Mohammad Khan of Prestige Flowers, "In these uncertain times, when everyone is staying at home, flowers offer a great way of connecting with loved ones and friends through the strong sentiments the arrangements represent. We have been spreading joy across the UK since the start of the pandemic last year. We have had a great response to this campaign which supports Cancer Research UK, Barnardos and Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

If you would like to send a bouquet to someone who is vulnerable or an elderly person, you can do so by getting in touch through the Leaving Smiles campaigns social handles on Facebook and Instagram.
