NL: Lightweight and durable binding tapener showcased

The new BJA TB-SI blue binding stapler from Amevo is now available. With only 421 grams an absolute lightweight, yet robust and durable.

Salesman Espen Zecha from Amevo is particularly proud of this expansion of the well-known BJA program. “BJA has been guaranteeing top quality for years and this blue tapener is the next step. Made of durable aluminum, synthetic, and steel, this tapener is no less than 25% lighter than its well-known purple brother. Especially impressive is the perfect balance, the weight is so evenly distributed that the tapener feels even lighter in the hand. Of course, this blue tapener is also scrap-free, so no polluting pieces of tape remain on the ground. ”

In addition to replacing a number of steel parts with aluminum, this tapener has even more improvements. For example, the cover of the tape holder has been reinforced with X-shaped ribs and the synthetic folding seam has been replaced by a hinge over the entire length of the tape holder.

Furthermore, the handle has also been adjusted, it is finely rounded and the tapener now lies wonderfully in the hand.

The locking of the compression spring has also been improved, so that it stays in place better.

Should a staple still get stuck, this tapener offers a handy solution. It is equipped with a handy steel pin to loosen any jammed staples.

BJA tapeners are of course known for their light operation. The BJA TB-SI is no exception, it requires very little squeezing force. It has a specially developed built-in stopper. This prevents you from squeezing too hard and flattening the staple before you have made the bond to the plant.

A fun and additional advantage of the BJA cutting mechanism is that the BJA tapener uses less tape per binding. This not only saves tape costs, but it also means that you don't have to change tape as often.

Espen Zecha: “Years ago we started the development process with BJA that was supposed to lead to a new, extremely light tying tapener. At the same time, we also set high standards for durability, handling speed and reliability of the tapener. After many practical tests and constant adjustments, we think that this new tapener is now fully developed and we can now actually deliver it. We expect that this lightweight, perfectly balanced, and durable blue BJA tapener will become the new standard!”
