The preparations for a safe, new, live edition of trade fair GrootGroenPlus are in full swing. The trade fair, which was held completely online last year, will be hosted live this year in Zundert, from 6 - 8 October 2021. It promises to be a special edition; all available spots are booked with over 200 participants, the trade fair is gathering a lot of attention from the press, and many visitors have already registered for a ticket.
Safe preparations
Currently, the construction of the trade fair is being prepared. All stands have been given a spot and the floor plan is published online. To keep the trade fair safe for visitors and participants, the trade fair routes will be one-way traffic and it will be possible to keep a 1.5-meter distance. The trade fair has been set up to fully support this.
Many digital possibilities
Given the digital success last year, many of these digital options will be continued this year. All parts of the program will also be available online, through the free trade fair app. This trade fair app also offers a lot of information about the participants and the possibility to schedule an appointment with them. Companies that open up their doors during the trade fair can be recognized by the eye that is displayed next to their company name.
This year, the Varb connection will also be available. This gives participants the opportunity to make their full current stock accessible through the website. It is visible through the participant profile, but also through the central search engine. This possibility is public and available for all national and international green participants.
Many activities
Of course, there will also be many offline activities. The Road Show, for example, has a selection of novelties from the field inspections, exhibition inspections, and star inspections conducted by the KVBC in the past few years. This year, the Road Show contains 31 already inspected, returning novelties, for the 31st edition of the trade fair.
And of course, some ‘fresh’ novelties will be inspected as well. More information about the novelties and of course the participants can be found on the website and in the free trade fair app.
Technology field
A new feature for this year is the outdoor technology field. Here, participants can show machines and/or smart solutions. This adds another dimension to the trade fair and emphasizes that it does not only focus on trees and plants but on everything that supports a healthy tree nursery industry.
