Foliage plants are hot! Also at DS Cole Growers in Loudon (NH), demand is high and in this video below, which was posted last week, owner Doug Cole shows their current availability of finished plants. It is a good representation of their house plant program, which they now offer year round. Before the house plant craze, they focused on Christmas plants like Poinsettias, Cyclamen and Selaginella this time of year. This is still the case, but now they can offer foliage pots and hangers as well. "Not only does this supplement our seasonal sales, but it keeps our staff busy and greenhouse full before we fully transition to young plants in the new year."
