Nowadays, pots are part of the appearance of the plant. More and more attention is paid to the pot printing, but unfortunately, it often does not come into its own because the pots are presented in transport trays, hiding the print. So why not a lowered front? "A good idea, but a challenge to implement," says Lisa van Koningsveld of Modiform. A few years ago, they added the so-called presentation tray to their transport tray range, and recently they introduced a new presentation tray.
Plants do not fall over
The front must be low enough so that the pot printing is clearly visible, and at the same time, the tray must be sturdy enough so that the plants do not fall over. "And the latter was the biggest challenge," she says. "Because when you make the tray so low, the chance of it tipping over increases. After many tests, we developed a system with a design that prevents this from happening. In addition, the plants stay healthy longer thanks to the watering system."
The 4854 - new in the range
The Modiform presentation tray has been on the market for some time now, and over the years, the range has expanded. At the moment, there are 7 different presentation trays. The latest tray that has been added to the range is the 4854, a tray suitable for a 13cm 5-degree pot. "There are 8 pots in a tray and 5 of them on a Danish trolley."
