Flowers are one of the most important products to export in Ecuador; they occupy the fifth position of non-oil products in the period from January to August 2022. During that period, 108,000 tonnes worth 642 million USD were exported. Roses take up 73% of the total exported flowers. These stats have been recently shared by Expoflores in this tweet; see below.
